On the shores of Lago di Iseo, in a neglected and heavily degraded railway area, a park was created that stands as a rare example in Italy of innovative land management. Fresh and playful, elegant and ever-changing, it combines botanical richness, enhancement of the lakeside environment and its historical memory, with careful attention to maintenance and water conservation.
Inaugurated in 2010, it has become a popular destination in the area. It received an honorable mention and a commendation in the 2013 and 2015 editions, respectively, of the European Landscape Award
